DISCIPLESHIP

We disciple at Revive Church by becoming more like Jesus through studying and living out the teachings in God’s Word, the Bible. We do this corporately through our Groups ministries and individually in our personal Bible study and prayer. 

 

Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). The Bible, which is unlike any other book in the world, tells us about God’s character and mission. Disciples are life-long students, who earnestly desire to be more and more like Jesus as they study and live out the Bible’s teachings. Every follower of Jesus is also a disciple of Jesus. 

 

Training disciples to become strong and mature leaders in the body of Christ, in the church of Christ, and in their communities. Through those who are trained up in discipleship, God will grow the church from the inside out (Acts 2:38-47) - we are the church. These strong leaders will share God’s word throughout communities, and train other disciples to grow and serve as well.

 

John 13:34-35: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another as I have loved you; that you also love one another. By this, all will know that you are my disciples; if you have love for one another.”

 

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 - Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

 

1 Corinthians 6:15-17 - Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

CONNECT GROUPS AND MINISTRIES

Being in community gives you the chance to be around people at different stages of their faith. Journey—and to bear their burdens alongside them (Galatians 6:2). That’s awesome because Everyone has something to teach and to learn. In fact, it creates the ideal environment to be a Barnabas (friend), pursue a Paul (teacher), or train a Timothy (student).

REVIVE MEN GROUP

Please join and be a part of an environment where men can connect and grow in Christ by engaging in fun activities and discussions that help people open up and feel secure in the new love they’ve found in Christ. This is a safe space, please come as you are. All are welcome there are no age restrictions.

REVIVE WOMEN GROUP

This group is for women, ages 18 & up and meets every other Monday via zoom. In this ten-week study a friend in me. How to be a safe haven for other women, the author offers advice in bridging the gap with younger women. Cassandra Fields wants to start a global movement in mentoring Christian women. Women are longing for relational connection and authentic relationship. Through biblical teaching, stories about God and faith.

CARE & SUPPORT GROUP - GRIEF SUPPORT

If you have experienced a loss (love one, relationship, job, etc.) And your “why” is louder than your “yes” then you maybe still grieving or haven’t fully understood how to deal with grief.  We are here to support you.

It is our desire that we provide a safe place to allow you to get in touch with all that you are experiencing with the loss, in an atmosphere of understanding.  Everyone has a story and we are here to listen and encourage the process, while building hope, increasing faith, and gaining new relationships.

TEEN GROUP

Revive Youth Ministry aims to grow the next generation of high school and middle school students in the truth of the Gospel, creating a welcoming space for them to engage in Christ centered teaching and find genuine community among their peers. Relationships drive our ministry, as we aim to equip each student to live authentically in faith through the ups and downs of academic life.

PREMARTIAL COUSELING

Christian premarital counseling explores each person's faith and history. It helps the couple examine personal convictions, expectations for their future, and responsibilities they will have. More than anything, premarital counseling aims to produce a marriage that is biblical and God-honoring.

MOBILE FOOD PANTRY

Our Food Pantry is a great way to supplement your family's nutritional needs. Through our partnership with Must Ministries and Store House Ministries.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

The heart of children's ministry at our church is to teach kids about who God is and how His word applies to their lives in creative and memorable ways. Through engaging teaching, supportive environments, and close knit small group classes, we guide kids towards a better understanding of what it means to have a real relationship with God. We want kids to know that the Bible is full of interesting stories that matter in their lives today, that fun and games are definitely allowed at church, that worship can be full of loud music and silly dancing, and that there are adults in the church who truly want to love and lead them closer to Jesus. In other words, we want them to know that where God is, life is a lot more fun.

CARE TEAM

Our Care Team is part of the ministry area we call “Next Steps”—programs related to discipleship and spiritual formation. Our greatest desire is for our care volunteers to point people to Jesus. Our Care Team follow up with our first time guest and prayer for them.

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

This bible study will teach and challenge young women and men to grow in their walk with Christ. Through this 8-10 week session we will discover the key to clear and daily communication with god through humble obedience. This study is meant to help young women and men to surrender to God's will and unlock his many blessings intended for us in our everyday lives. Join our strong and let god pour into as you bond with other like-minded young men and women in Christ.

TEEN MINISTRY

Middle and high school students meet weekly in Life groups for Bible study, prayer and accountability at 10:30 each Sunday. We want them to grow in their ability to read the Bible for themselves and get to know other students in their same stage of life. Supporting our youth via Discipleship, Schlorships, Clubs and Sports!
